We are still only a month into our Tessitura transition and reporting is confusing. Does anyone have an option for a simple report that pulls for the most part just the purchaser's email contact?

I don't think there is a "box" report for email. I created one in analytics.
When we need an email list for attendees I pull the Attendance by Performance Report, save it as a List, and then use an Output set that has just the name and email. Or you could create a list where the parameters are that the person is registered for the event.
I second the lists. Or most places have a custom variation of Performance Seating Book that they've added an email address column to.
I would tend to use a List to define the folks I'm targeting, and an output-set to define the values I need in the results.
If this needs to come out on a recurring basis I'd schedule the Execute an Outputs-Set report to provide the automation.

The Order Export Utility (located in the Ticketing Processing folder) is another option, in addition to all the good suggestions on this thread.
