Hi folks,
We have a continual challenge in getting our guests to comply with all program conditions for our animal encounters and as we're getting ready to move to TNew 7, thought it would be a great idea to see how other folks distribute their waivers and inform guests of any particular program conditions.
Right now - the program conditions are text before guests can select a program date and the waivers and condition sign off sheet are page 2 and 3 of their print at home tickets. They're also available onsite or by clicking a link online. For our height requirement for the beluga encounter, we had to go so far as putting in a check box confirmation as many folks really thought the 5 foot height was a friendly suggestion.
What other ideas are out there?
Thanks in advance!
Melanie
Hi Melanie!
I'm also super interested in this!
For our new (custom) site we will just be relying on bold hyperlinks (to survey monkey) on the confirmation page and confirmation emails to get folks to fill out their forms. Which probably won't be suuuuper effective as it's not required and we have to manually match them up to the orders.
I can't recall if the custom form fields are HTML compatible in v7 but if they are, maybe a required checkbox that says "I have filled out *this* form/application/waiver" that links out to survey monkey or wherever your forms are hosted? I've found survey monkey to better for complicated/ multi-participant forms as opposed to the custom form fields that go into a CSI and are a bit of a pain to make. I also remember running into an issue where I was using the default address form for multiple things, and when I unchecked the box so that it wasn't required for an event, that was global... so addresses were no longer required for creating accounts... which was bad.
Love the multi-page PAH idea.
PS I did a beluga encounter yesterday and it was the best day of my life.
