Discussion Meeting About Switching to TMS

Good morning from University of Washington,

I'm sure many of you experienced the notification about the ending contracts with WorldPay and Windcave.  Has anyone in this group switched to Tessitura Merchant Services or in the process of switching to Tessitura Merchant Services?  I was wandering if we can schedule a discussion Zoom meeting about the pros and cons of switching over to TMS and the how the process works. We are currently still contracted with Windcave and are living in fear of the dreadful notification of our contract ending since we would have to jump through many hoops to switch to something else being a state run university.  My colleagues and I would like to hear from you about to what to expect.

  • Hi , , and !  I hope you all are doing well!  I wanted to check in with you all and see how your process is going with Tessitura Merchant Services.  I would love to hear an update, and I know it would help others who are on this path as well!  and thank you for your input about your process!  Are you all still planning to make the switch this month?

  • We are stuck at the Nebraska State treasurer at the moment. They want us to provide a breakdown of how much more TMS will cost compared to the fees we're paying now, in comparison of what it would cost to convert to a different ticketing system. We have had to reach out to other ticketing softwares in order to collect that data, but it looks like our argument will mostly be centered around the loss of functionality if we were to move. But if we fail to make a compelling case, then it's within the realm of possibility that we might be forced to switch, but thankfully we have a lot more time to convince them now.
