Question for when we are back to some semblance of normal:
Is anyone using Venmo on campus? I would really like to start accepting this but it is hard to convince the University's information Services and Accounting that this is safe.
We already have an ipod in the box office that we run our "SpiderCards" through. (SpiderCard is our version of the access and debit card that I'm sure all of your schools use.)
We are planning on "table-ing" in our student commons a lot more in the future and I think that this would be super helpful. We also have a lot of students who ask if we take it.
I am thinking I could just set it up as a new payment method similar to the SpiderCard which we have to settle separately anyway.
I have not thought about how to get the money from Venmo either.
Does anyone have any input on this?
