I'm part of the OSD planning team this year and we are currently in the process of reaching out an inviting those people lucky enough to be attending TLCC2018 in Orlando to join us for the Open Space strand of the conference.
There's so much to do at the Conference so as you plan your conference experience, we want to take this opportunity to invite you be a part of Open Space Discussions.
Open Space is a wonderful opportunity for us to bring questions forward and dig deep into discovery with the community. This is our chance to explore those topics that are most-relevant and important to us. What’s that one topic that you’re most interested in diving into with colleagues from around the Network? Write that down and bring it with you to Open Space. Don’t have a topic in mind? Just bring your experience as an arts & cultural professional – your colleagues will have plenty of conversation starters you can join in on.
I must admit to being a typically reserved Brit last year and sceptical about the number of people who would stand up and convene a discussion but I was proved so wrong. I was blown away by how everyone really engaged with the Open Space concept and whilst I didn't convene a discussion myself, those discussions I joined turned out to be my favourite sessions of the whole conference. It's brilliant. I can't wait for this year.
