Hi everyone
I'm keen to talk to someone who has experience with using rankings for identifying potential prospects - most likely starting with an 'Idiots Guide' to! If anyone could spare the time to get in touch and talk me through how they use them and what is involved in the set up I'd be very grateful. This is the beginning of a concerted effort for us to proactively identify prospects based on a combination of affinity (giving and attendance) and wealth (from our research) so hearing from some of you who might be slightly further along in that process would be lovely!
Thanks and happy new year!
Eve
Hi Eve
Sorry this thread has stayed a bit quiet for you. At our last meeting we briefly discussed rankings and at that time National Theatre and Wales Millennium Centre were using them, and Birmingham Hippodrome were working on it - if anyone from those organisations would be happy to chat please let Eve know!
Fi has changed organisation and role (still with a Tessitura User, no longer Development) - but when she was feeding back about her experience at TLCC flagged that Chicago Symphony Orchestra had used rankings to track four models of prospecting - there might be something helpful in the TLCC archive https://www.tessituranetwork.com/en/Community-and-Events/Conference-Archive/tlcc2017-archive - and if not you could try and post your question in a different online group/forum to ask for their feedback?
Searching the Tessitura Network can help find some other tips/tricks - when I checked for information on rankings I found a presentation from Seattle Opera as well https://www.tessituranetwork.com/en/Files/tlcc/2015/Pres/Rankings-for-Development
Hope some of this will help!
