Data Protection for Fundraisers

Hello

To get the ball rolling thinking and talking about Data Protection, Fiona and I wanted to get in touch and share some links with you. We'd love to hear any thoughts/questions that you have in this forum, and any issues raised by this or elsewhere that you'd like to discuss further at the next TUG (October 2017, exact date TBC).

ACE have drafted a guidance document for charities: the final version was slightly delayed due to the snap election, but when we get a copy of this we'll be sharing it with you

Thank you for starting a discussion!

The final version of the ACE guidance has now been published.

I have also read the guidance on consent from the ICO (still draft, hopefully the final will be soon) and the Fundraising Regulator.

We are in the process of defining categories for consent and a plan to update them. I'd love to know what stages other organisations are at.
