I have recently started with Tessitura Analytics and was wondering were could I get information on different fields (the columns of the tables)? They field names are not always self-explanatory so I want to know if there is any metadata or data dictionary available.

How exciting! I know what you mean - it can be confusing at first. I don't know of a resource exactly like you say, but after you've made a widget you can look at a data dictionary for it, so you can see which tables the fields you have chosen are referencing. You can see this by clicking the little scroll-like symbol in the top right of a widget when you're looking at the overall dashboard.
I learned (and continue to learn) what the fields mean through a lot of trial and error, and checking results against other reports. Hopefully someone else has something more helpful up their sleeve.
