UK Museums and Galleries - are you still limiting group visits and the number of tickets sold per transaction?

Here at The Courtauld we are getting ready to reopen to the public after a 3-year closure period for refurbishment. I'd love to hear about your ticketing practices in regard to Covid, and whether you are still limiting group sizes or the number of tickets per transaction. Are you welcoming groups back to your sites, and if so, what is the market like currently? Thanks!

  • Hello! As you can imagine the group's market is nothing like it used to be. We are jsut now starting to see a handful of groups return, mainly American tourists, not a lot of domestic group coach travel. However these groups our coming to our sites outside of London at the moment, rather than our London sites. Edinburgh and Windsor seem to be slowly but surely starting see very small numbers of groups again. To answer your question re capacity, we stopped limiting groups capacity in the summer and are now accepting groups of any size. We have no caps on our tickets per transaction.
