We have a Tessitura Support ticket open for this general issue (on top of a larger conversation about this customization), but I thought I would bring the question to this group as well, in case anyone has insights or breakthroughs.
When I run a simple List for students in a specific performance and pair it with a simple Output Set using the Custom: Edu Form Response/Education Form Answer element to select a few questions to report out answers for, I see significant duplication in the Results (note that I've intentionally messed with our customer_no and Date_of_Birth fields for data safety):
When I visit the Custom tab, EDU Main radio button for this patron, I see that the Date_of_Birth question has been answered twice; once in 2017, once in 2020. Any thoughts on why I see it four times in the Output result?
The How_did_you_hear question also shows up twice in the custom screen, with no answer in either case, so seeing blanks in that column is not surprising.
The Attending_School question has been answered twice--again, in 2017 and 2020--but with different answers in each case (the one listed here showing up in the 2020 response). Since this answer has only been given once, why would it show up four times?
This is, understandably, causing loads of frustrations from our organizations using the customization and this Output Set Element as a reporting solution. It makes it nearly impossible to report data in a meaningful way without manual deduplication of data, even in a simple Output Set like the one I'm demonstrating here.
