Looking to get TNMP - a few queries...

Hello everyone,

We at the Royal Exchange Theatre are looking to get TN Mobile Plus and I was wondering if people could share their thoughts? 

In terms of the actual project, is there anything that I should definitely be thinking about in advance?

In terms of sales, has anyone experienced a rise in online bookings because of TNMP?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for getting back to me and posting in the forum. Unfortunately there’s still not been any uptake in responses! I’ve emailed Adele at Royal & Derngate as well as sending a BCC email to a few members of the TNMP forum. Fingers crossed!

     

    In terms of Google Analytics, our TNEW website isn’t hosted by our Web Developers (We Are AD, formerly Alienation). This is one of the other things we talked about in our meeting in November that you queried as to why not and I went on to explain that AD suggested it was too tricky/expensive/time consuming. I’m not entirely sure I remember why. And this is something we’re looking to change. So for the purpose of stats for TNMP, this option isn’t available. But in terms of the future, you mentioned that it was worth speaking to the TNEW and asking their help to get AD to host TNEW.  

     

    If you look at our TNEW site at the moment, it’s simply a static replica of our website - https://bookings.royalexchange.co.uk/ and www.royalexchange.co.uk

    Good question Vicky! I've heard from lots of users that once they implement TNMP they see a significant uptick in mobile sales--anyone out there want to chime in? 

    Another way perhaps to think about this is if you looked at Google Analytics you could identify how much traffic you're seeing on your site from mobile browsers (and probably even how much of that traffic is dropping off once they try to buy tickets) and then safely assume that with TNMP you'd see increased sales roughly in line with those stats. Hope that helps.
