Additional Dates

We are in the process of getting our TN Mobile Plus app set up. We've come across an issue with the Additional Dates field and our ticketing setup.

Our performance setup in Tess looks like this:
Title (ESO Pops) --> Productions (14 Pops) --> Production Seasons (14 Pops) --> Performances

In this example, each Pops distinct performance is on two dates (Friday night and Saturday night) but there are 7 distinct performances.

So if I was on our mobile app looking at Pops 1 Friday night, in the additional dates field we would see Pops 1 Saturday night (good) but also the other 12 different pops performances for the rest of the year (not so good).

This is true for many different types of performances we have.

In speaking with our TNMP rep we've learned that we can't change this functionality and we can't hide the additional dates option so it never shows up.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has a setup similar to ours? How have you minimized the confusion for your app users?

Thanks for the advice! :)

    Hey Beth-

Thanks for your post. Sorry for our delayed reply here, but we were waiting to give you the good news--yes, you can now suppress the Additional Dates field. In the Control Panel > API Settings area, look for the new checkbox 'Hide Additional Performance Dates'. If you check that checkbox the additional dates will no longer display on the performance pages in TNMP.

If you have any questions about this don't hesitate to write back or open a support ticket in the Web Products TASK workspace.

    Thanks,
    Steve
