The 16.0.9.63 release has been deployed to all v16 Development Sites.
TARGETED PRODUCTION RELEASE DATE: Sep 13, 2023
Small Enhancements
Select-Your-Own-Seat (SYOS) Map Selection: Seat availability for performances with SYOS enabled was previously always based on the user that logged in. A new property is available in the Configuration: SYOS & Pricing component editor to permit seat availability to be based on the household when a user is a primary member of a household. For organizations using rank-based seat allocations, enabling this feature will cause the SYOS map to function the same way on TNEW and in the App.
Enhanced Transaction Handling for Tessitura Merchant Services: For organizations using Tessitura Merchant Services, enhancements to transaction processing have been introduced to ensure orders are successfully created with valid payments, including:
When a transaction authorization takes a longer than expected time to be returned, up to three additional attempts to check the transaction status will occur. Should the third attempt not return a successful authorization, a cancellation of the original payment will occur. The user will remain on the Payment Page and be shown a configurable error message.
After a user submits their payment information, if an error occurs in sending the payment for authorization, a check of the transaction status will occur. Should there not be an authorization, a cancellation of the original payment will occur. The user will remain on the Payment Page and be shown a configurable error message.
Due to the load-balanced server configuration all sites, users may have submitted their payment for authorization and not received a response back while still having a payment processed. This may have led to payments accepted without orders created successfully.
Fixes to Reported Defects
Flex Packages: The Flex Package Selections page displayed price zones which had been disabled for specific price types. When a user attempted to select the price zone, an error message was displayed when attempting to add tickets in to the package.
Contact Permissions (GDPR): When using the Contact Permissions (GDPR) feature, a user that had not yet logged in was directed to the Cart Details page instead of Additonal Items page when the Additional Items page is enabled for the Event/Item.
Hosted Payment Processing: For organizations using Worldpay or Tessitura Merchant Services, some log messages were not written to the LT_TNEW_PAYMENT_AUDIT reference table when there was excessive length. The payment was processed successfully however the record in the reference table may have been missing.
