The 7.57.0 release has been re-deployed to Test Sites.
TARGETED PRODUCTION RELEASE DATE: Mar 14, 2023
New Features
Support for Google Analytics 4: Introducing support for Google Analytics 4 (GA4) which can be configured using the TNEW Administration Site. Beginning with this release, GA4 can be configured and implemented using a new Analytics Component Editor and Product Properties. For more information about configuring and enabling GA4, visit the help system. (LINK)
Included in this release is support for the following GA4 events:
Page View: The Page Title and Page URL are provided with this event to GA4 when a user views any page on TNEW.
Purchase: Specific information about an order and the products purchased are provided when a user completes an order or completes a One-Page Giving transaction.
Important notes regarding this release:
It is your responsibility to ensure that the use of GA4 conforms with your organization’s privacy policy and local regulations regarding data privacy, storage and security.
As part of this release, Tessitura Network will automatically collect and store non-personally identifiable information from your TNEW site in specific circumstances. This data is aggregated for specific user behavior analysis and only collected on TNEW sites in the North American and Asia/Pacific regions. When only collected by Tessitura Network, a cookie is not placed in a user’s browser.
Small Enhancements
Seat Server Status Information: The current number of active connections to the Tessitura Seat Server can now be viewed on the Administration Site homepage. This can be helpful in determining when to enable a Virtual Waiting Room during a particularly high volume on-sale event, virtual experience with digital content, or an unexpected publicity-generated surge in traffic.
Fixes to Reported Defects
Rollover Orders without Sources: Rollover Orders without sources were failing to display on the Renewals Detail page.
Customers Without Addresses: Primary members of a household may have been unable to proceed to the Payment page when the household account did not have an active address. Primary members will now be able to proceed to the Payment page as long as the user has at least one active address.
Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) Data Layer: For organizations using Google Analytics (Universal Analytics), the ID number for super packages in the Transaction Products collection may have incorrectly referenced the first sub-package ID number instead of the super package ID number.
Payment Plan Dates: The payment plan summary for a billing schedule that bills the first of the month may have displayed the wrong date for the payment installations.
Payments Processed without Orders: For organizations using Tessitura Merchant Services, when an issue occurred during the final completion of an order but after a user had entered payment information, a payment may have been processed without an order. The detection of unexpected errors has been improved and new log messages displayed on the Site Logs page have been added. Should an unexpected error occur, a customer will be notified on the Payment page and asked to contact your organization for assistance.
Maintenance
Prior unused versions of JavaScript libraries JQuery and JQuery-UI contained in the /_script directory have been removed. (Note: This does not affect the versions of JQuery and JQuery UI which are included by default the the base TNEW application.)
The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the release notes section of the Help System.
