16.0.4 Deployed to all Test Sites

The 16.0.4 release has been deployed to Test Sites.

TARGETED PRODUCTION RELEASE DATE: Nov 1, 2022

  • New Features

    • Additional Item(s) Pages: Additional Items Page(s) offer new functionality to display a listing of available add-on event or items to a customer after selecting tickets on the Event/Item detail page. Additional Items can be configured to display based on the performance date of the Event/Item or for performances that occur on any date.

  • Small Enhancements

    • Contact Permissions (GDPR): When enabled, the Contact Permissions section on the Create Account Brief, Create Account, Guest, Payment, and Pre-Cart pages has has minor adjustments made in support of accessible experiences. These adjustments include:

      • Each Contact Permissions Group is now grouped by a section tag instead of a div tag as previously.

      • The input fields within each Contact Permissions Category have been grouped using fieldset and legend elements.

      • The Save and Dismiss buttons are now left-aligned in support of users using screen magnification software.

    • Fee Web Alias: When configured, the Web Alias for a Fee will now be displayed instead of the Fee Name on the Cart Details, Payment, and Confirmation pages as well as in Order Confirmation emails.

    • Heading Instructional Text on the Membership Overview Page: The default value for the Heading Instructional Text property in the Membership Overview page editor has been updated to be "Your memberships, if any, are listed below by their expiration date." (Note: if any property in this page editor has been changed previously, the new default value will not appear)

    • Per-Seat Fees in Flex Package Selections Mini-Cart: If a performance was configured with a per-seat fee, the fee would display in the performance information and ticket selector but was excluded from the subtotal shown in the mini-cart. The subtotal shown in the mini-cart now included per-seat fees, when configured.

    • Period Messaging on the Membership Overview Page: When period-based messaging is configured for display on the Membership Overview page. Longer messages will now appropriately line-break instead of extending off of the right-hand side of the page.

    • Tessitura Merchant Services: For organizations using Tessitura Merchant Services, Apple Pay is now supported on One-Page Giving pages.

  • Fixes to Reported Defects

    • Conditional Checkout Donation: When a membership has been added to the cart, the conditional checkout donation will still display on the Payment page. The conditional checkout donation will only not display when a contribution that is not associated with a membership is in the cart.

    • Contact Permissions (GDPR): The Save and Dismiss buttons were incorrectly displayed on the Create Account, Create Account Brief, and Guest pages when enabled. These pages now use the standard functionality of submitting the form to make updates to Contact Permissions.

    • Clear Cache Functionality Delayed: When using the Clear Cache button on the Administration Site, the resulting success message when the caches have been cleared may not have displayed until navigating to another page in the Administration Site. The message will now appear once caches have been cleared successfully.

    • Error Messaging on the Event Listing/Calendar Page: When an issue occurs loading the Listing/Calendar page, an error message may display which incorrectly has the word "occurred" spelled.

    • Flex Package Selections: When a flex package contains a performance which is sold out, the performance will not be shown as available on the Flex Package selections page.

    • Membership Detail Page Heading: When the Heading Displayed property for the Membership Detail page was set to false, or disabled, the Membership Level name, or Web Alias if configured, was not displaying. The Membership Level name, or Web Alias, if configured, will now always display.

    • Mobile Tickets: When viewing a mobile ticket for the first time from the Upcoming Events page, a user may have experienced an error. Tickets will now display on the first attempted view of the tickets from the Upcoming Events page.

    • reCAPTCHA: When reCAPTCHA was enabled, a reCAPTCHA invisible challenge was appearing on the Payment Page, where reCAPTCHA is not typically displayed. This has been removed from the Payment Page. (Note: As part of Tessitura Network’s continuing efforts to strengthen security for payment processing, we recommend that the reCAPTCHA feature be enabled)

    • Select-Your-Own-Seat Map:

      • The Price Range Only option for the Legend Price Type & Price Range Format property was incorrectly displaying price types instead of ranges. When Price Range Only is selected, the Legend will now display the price range.

      • The Default Price Type option for the Price Type Range property was not displaying the default price type range but instead a display range of all price types. When Default Price Type is selected, the Price Type Range will now display the price range of the default price types.

      • When a fee is displayed separately from the price for each price type by configuring the Fee Disclaimer Displayed property, the Fee Disclaimer message will now wrap to the next line if it extends beyond the Price Type Selection window.

    • Special Seat Notification: When the Back button was used after viewing the Special Seat Notification page, the cart timer may not have been reset if there were no remaining seated Event/Item(s) in the cart.

    • Tessitura Merchant Services: For organizations using Tessitura Merchant Services, several defects have been resolved:

      • Apple Pay: Some users may have been unable to complete a One-Page Giving transaction after having cancelled payment using Apple Pay.

      • Dynamic Payment Method Filtering: The inline Payment Form displayed on the Payment Page and One-Page Giving Pages may have inaccurately displayed card brand icons that are not accepted. The card brand icons have been removed.

      • One-Page Giving Amount: The Contribution Type minimum amount, which is unlikely to be the amount chosen by the user was used for initial authorization. The suggested amount is now used which decreases the amount of time required to authorize a payment.

      • Payment Method Brand Configuration: Apple Pay may not have been able to be enabled when using a Virtual Waiting Room, this has been resolved and should now be available when requested.

    • Waiting Room: For organizations enabling Queue-It as a Virtual Waiting Room for the first time, a warning may have been shown that prevented enabling the waiting room in the Administration Site. This has been removed.

The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the release notes section of the Help System.
