7.35.1 Deployed to all LIVE Sites

The 7.35.1 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

For v7, fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • New Features
    • One-Page Giving: One-Page Giving significantly streamlines the process of donating for a patron. The standalone purchase path offers an easy way for a patron to enter or select a donation amount, enter a few personal details like email address and then proceed to payment – all on one page. To learn how to set up this new feature, please review the documentation in our Help System. Here are highlights of what is included:
      • Unlimited number of one-page giving forms with unique URL "slugs".
      • Utilizes guest checkout framework - even if you don't have guest checkout enabled in your primary TNEW purchase path.
      • New optional configuration setting to reduce duplicate constituent records via look-up using email address.
      • Standalone purchase path with separate session and separate cart from the primary TNEW purchase path.
      • Utilizes existing contribution type and TNEW administration editors for easy set up.
      • Utilizes same hosted payment process that you currently use now.
      • Track results using source codes embedded in URL.
      • Capture "opt-ins" for things like email newsletters or gift aid with a single but configurable check box.
      • Ability to set a default source code specific to one-page giving donations for more granular reporting.
  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Guest Checkout:
      • If gender was automatically assigned to a guest checkout account, and guest checkout account is re-used on a subsequent check out, user was not able to successfully complete the guest checkout form.
      • If address form was disabled on the guest checkout page, user was not able to successfully complete the guest checkout form.
      • Shipping Information and Shipping Address forms were appearing on the Guest Checkout page for orders that contained non-shippable items only (like contributions).
      • The “Req City” checkbox in TR_COUNTRY on the address forms in the Guest Checkout path was not being respected. Even if the "Req City" was set to false, the "Required" label did not display, but the field was still being validated as if required.

    • Windcave Hosted Payments
      • In certain situations, where patron submitted invalid credit card information on the Windcave's hosted payment page and then returned to TNEW’s /cart/payment page, the “invalid card” response was not being handled correctly, and transactions were being voided when they should not have been.
