7.34.2 Deployed to all TEST Sites

The 7.34.2 release has been deployed to all TNEW Test Sites which includes some fixes for issues with 7.34.1. This includes features, small enhancements and defects that were released in 7.34.1 which are documented below, separately.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE for members who have not yet upgraded to 15.0.x or 15.1.x:

  • If you are not on Tessitura version 15.0.x or 15.1.x, your TNEW instance did not receive this release. As part of testing during the upgrade process to 15.0.x or 15.1.x, you should ensure that the latest release of TNEW has been applied to your TEST site and review any new features or functionality that has been added to TNEW since version 7.25.3. To confirm which version of Tessitura (and/or TNEW) you are running, go to the home page of the TNEW Admin site. The version numbers are located at the top of the page in red.
  • If you are self-hosted, after you upgrade to 15.x of Tessitura, you will need to contact us to manually deploy the latest release of TNEW first to your TEST environment for you to review and then, when you are ready, to your LIVE environment. You will also need to request that our support team re-migrates the properties xml file into the new cloud environment.
  • If you subscribe to the waiting room service Queue-It, you will need to review your "Waiting Room" settings in the "Site Setup" section of TNEW Admin as part of your upgrade.

7.34.2:

For v6 and v7, the following fixes have been released.

  • Fixes to reported defects in TEST only
    • SYOS: SYOS assets were not rendering correctly and the user was redirected to the best available version of the events detail page. This has been fixed.

For v7, the following fixes have been released.

  • Fixes to reported defects in TEST only
    • Payment Method Aliases: The values in LTR_TNEW_ALIAS_PAYMENT_METHOD were not displaying in the credit card drop down field on the TNEW hosted payment page. This has been fixed.

7.34.0 & 7.34.1:

For v6 and v7, the following feature has been released.

  • Features
    • New Assets Location: In preparation for the move of our hosting services to the cloud, we continue to migrate assets upon which TNEW is dependent on from our current infrastructure into the cloud. In this release, we have moved assets including things like SYOS maps, Cart XSLT files, exception error message xml file, etc. If these assets are referenced from services, websites, apps or items like emails outside of TNEW, you will need to update those references to point to the new location in the cloud. We will be logging these references and will be in touch with in the event we identify that assets outside of TNEW are being referenced.

For v7, fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • Features
    • WorldPay - Responsive Hosted Payment Page: Our hosted payment integration with WorldPay now points to a new responsive payment page in place of the existing non-responsive page.

    • Queue-It v3.5 (Beta): We have made an update for v3.5 of Queue-It in order to support storing of large configuration files. The initial implementation truncated configurations that were larger than 4k in size. We have fixed this and will now move forward with beta testing.
    • WindCave - Dynamic Payment Type Filtering: Our hosted payment integration with WindCave now includes ability to support dynamic payment type filtering using the existing LTR_TNEW_DYN_PAYMENT_METHOD table.

  • Small Enhancements
    • Mobile Tickets - Added Ticket Number: We have added the display of the ticket number in the default "Mobile Ticket" html ticket template in order to provide method to manually enter ticket number into the N-Scan scanner in the case that there is an issue scanning the QR code.
    • REST: Display of Alias for On Account Payments on Confirmation Email: If an on account payment is made using REST, the confirmation email now displays the appropriate alias in LTR_TNEW_CONTRIB_TYPE table. Please note that this will require a SQL script to be run for anyone on 15.1.7 and should be included as part of the upgrade process.
  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Apostrophe/Quote support via WYSIWYG Editor: The WYSIWYG editor was not handling apostrophes or double quotes very well. We have updated the configuration of the editor to not escape apostrophe or quotation marks so they are no longer converted to html. If you have performance titles or content that already contain apostrophe / quotation marks that have been converted to html, you will need to re-edit this content in TNEW admin and save.
    • Dynamic Shipping Alias on Confirmation Page: The dynamic shipping alias in the LTR_TNEW_DYN_SHIPPING_METHOD table was not displaying correctly on the confirmation page. This included shipping alias for gift certificates as well.
    • Payment Methods (7.34.1):
      • All payment methods were being returned instead of those that were control grouped for the web api user. This has been fixed.
      • Due to the above, transactions via Windcave were failing. This has been fixed.
    • Exception Error Messages (7.34.1):
      • As part of the cloud migration, all assets are being moved from current servers to the cloud. There was an error in mapping the location of the files where error messages are stored. This has been fixed.
