7.32.2 Deployed to all TEST and LIVE Sites

The 7.32.2 release has been deployed to all TNEW Test  and Live Sites.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE for members who have not yet upgraded to 15.0.x or 15.1.x:

  • If you are not on Tessitura version 15.0.x or 15.1.x, your TNEW instance did not receive this release. As part of testing during the upgrade process to 15.0.x or 15.1.x, you should ensure that the latest release of TNEW has been applied to your TEST site and review any new features or functionality that has been added to TNEW since version 7.25.3. To confirm which version of Tessitura (and/or TNEW) you are running, go to the home page of the TNEW Admin site. The version numbers are located at the top of the page in red. 
  • If you are self-hosted, after you upgrade to 15.x of Tessitura, you will need to contact us to manually deploy the latest release of TNEW first to your TEST environment for you to review and then, when you are ready, to your LIVE environment. 
  • If you subscribe to the waiting room service Queue-It, you will need to review your "Waiting Room" settings in the "Site Setup" section of TNEW Admin as part of your upgrade.

In addition to the items in the 7.32.1 release (see below), we have added one fix for the 7.32.2 release.

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Upcoming Events: The new mobile ticket messaging was prematurely released and displaying on the upcoming events page with the release of 7.32.1. The mobile tickets functionality should not be available until the 7.33 release. 

For v7, fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide. 

  • Features
    • On Account Payments via REST: Additional updates to support On Account Payments via REST so that they display on the TNEW order confirmation email.  
      Please note: TNEW only renders an applied on account payment, but the actual application of an on account payment is not handled by TNEW at this time. If you are interested in utilizing this feature, we recommend contacting our consulting team and/or consider building your own customization.

  • Small Enhancements
    • WindCave Hosted Payments: 
      • There were reports of a instances in which requests by TNEW to void WindCave transactions not being processed correctly by WindCave leaving a transaction in Windcave with no associated order in Tessitura. This appears to be caused by a timing issue when a user abandoned the transaction before it was completed and returned to the payment page - and the original transaction was still being processed by 3DSecure. We have added retry requests in order to wait until 3DSecure processing is complete before requesting the void.
      • For the WindCave hosted payment set up screen in the “Hosted Payment” tab within TNEW Admin’s Site Set Up section, the names of the configuration fields and the order of the fields have been updated to better align with Windcave’s nomenclature to make it easier to configure WindCave hosted payments on TNEW.
    • Default Navigation Landing Page for My Account: TNEW offers a way to configure which page a user is redirected to by default if they click on their email address in the utility nav that appears when logged in. This is the “Default Navigation Landing Page” property in the “Account Navigation” component. We have added Upcoming Events and Giving History pages as options for this feature.

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Upcoming Events Page: When the Upcoming Events page was released, the product type name did not display like other pages if “Product Type Name Displayed” was set to True in the Product Type Editor. This has been fixed.
    • Create Account Brief Page: When on the Account/Create/Brief page, the “reset your password” link in the message that displays if the email that had been submitted already exists in Tessitura did not direct user correctly to the Reset Password form. This has been fixed.
    • Pending Memberships: The Memberships page in the My Account Section of TNEW was filtering out memberships in “pending” status. This prevented active memberships that had been renewed from displaying and a member would not see their membership on the page. This has been fixed.
    • CSIs (Customer Service Issues): With 7.31.2’s release, CSIs for custom forms associated with an event, and the Perf Ind for the CSI is set to Performance, the li_seq_no was being passed in via the CSI instead of the perf_no. This additionally caused errors in the client when reviewing the CSI. This has been fixed.
    • Custom Forms: Form field validation on custom forms when navigating/tabbing through the page was not firing. This has been fixed.
