7.31.0 Deployed to all LIVE Sites

The 7.31.0 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE for members who have not yet upgraded to 15.0.x or 15.1.x:

  • If you are not on Tessitura version 15.0.x or 15.1.x, your TNEW instance did not receive this release. As part of testing during the upgrade process to 15.0.x or 15.1.x, you should ensure that the latest release of TNEW has been applied to your TEST site and review any new features or functionality that has been added to TNEW since version 7.25.3. To confirm which version of Tessitura (and/or TNEW) you are running, go to the home page of the TNEW Admin site. The version numbers are located at the top of the page in red. 
  • If you are self-hosted, after you upgrade to 15.x of Tessitura, you will need to contact us to manually deploy the latest release of TNEW first to your TEST environment for you to review and then, when you are ready, to your LIVE environment. 
  • If you subscribe to the waiting room service Queue-It, you will need to review your "Waiting Room" settings in the "Site Setup" section of TNEW Admin as part of your upgrade.

For v7, fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide. 

  • Features

    • Support for Customizations that use On Account Payments: TNEW version 7 now supports display of on account payments in the cart if an on account payment has been applied to the order. via customization. 
      Please note: TNEW only renders an applied on account payment, but the actual application of an on account payment is not handled by TNEW at this time. If you are interested in utilizing this feature, we recommend contacting our consulting team and/or consider building your own customization.

  • Small Enhancements
    • Accessibility: Minor updates made to the packages/renewals page.

    • REST: The TNEW cart has been updated to allow for on account contributions to be added to cart via REST. While the TNEW cart is still currently primarily dependent on SOAP calls, this cart will support on account contributions added to cart whether via SOAP or via REST. 
      Please  note: TNEW continues to add on account contributions via SOAP at this time until further updates can be made to the confirmation emails to support REST. 

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Feedback Form: We received reports that community members were getting errors when submitting feedback via the feedback form that is accessible via the TNEW Admin site. We have corrected the configuration error and you can now submit feedback again.

    • HABO Foreign: When HABO foreign is configured for the MOS, if a user with a foreign primary address logged in during checkout, they were getting redirected to the /error page. This has been fixed so they are successfully redirected to the cart/payment page with HABO only text displaying.

    • Sorting of Events on the List view of the Events Page: If a performance had a title override in the product editor that incorporated html code, the sorting of the performance was impacted on the events listing page as it was using the html code. This has been fixed so that the sorting of the performances are by the actual text version of the performance title.

    • Exceeding Seat Limits Message when enforced by Promo Code: If a promo code with maximum seats allowance configured is enabled, the wrong message raw exception error was displaying on the best available page (but not on the SYOS version). This has been fixed so that the appropriate user-friendly error message is displaying on both best available and SYOS views of the events/detail page.

    • Sorting of Additional Events: Additional Events that have been configured to have date and time displayed were being sorted by performance id instead of date/time which could cause the list not to not appear in chronological order. This has been fixed so additional events with date/time displaying will sort by date/time and additional events with date and time hidden will sort alphabetically.

    • Events Detail Link URL Override: Events Detail Link URL Override" property was not being applied correctly on upcoming events page or the production season overview page. This has been fixed so the link directs user to the URL in the override property.
