v7.29.2 Deployed to all LIVE Sites

The 7.29.2 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE for members who have not yet upgraded to 15.0.x or 15.1.x:

  • If you are not on Tessitura version 15.0.x or 15.1.x, your TNEW instance did not receive this release. As part of testing during the upgrade process to 15.0.x or 15.1.x, you should ensure that the latest release of TNEW has been applied to your TEST site and review any new features or functionality that has been added to TNEW since version 7.25.3. To confirm which version of Tessitura (and/or TNEW) you are running, go to the home page of the TNEW Admin site. The version numbers are located at the top of the page in red.
  • If you are self-hosted, after you upgrade to 15.x of Tessitura, you will need to contact us to manually deploy the latest release of TNEW first to your TEST environment for you to review and then, when you are ready, to your LIVE environment.
  • If you subscribe to the waiting room service Queue-It, you will need to review your "Waiting Room" settings in the "Site Setup" section of TNEW Admin as part of your upgrade.

For v6 & v7, a new feature and an update to site admin were released.

  • Caching: Cache clearing has been updated to utilize a cache token which will auto-reload the cache on individual servers (if cache token value has changed). The cache token changes when either you refresh cache via the cache clearing button which will refresh Tessitura data or at the time you save updates in v7's Product Type Editor, Product Editor, Component Editor and Page Editor. The cache will be cleared across all servers within 6 seconds. If you don't clear cache after making a change in Tessitura, data for pricing and availability will refresh in 6 seconds, and all other changes in Tessitura will take an hour to refresh cache.

F
or v7, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • Features
    • Upcoming Events: A new page in the account section has been released in order to provide your customers with a list of their upcoming events - whether it's classes, lectures, exhibitions or performances. You will have the ability at the product type level to control which types of products display on this page as well as the ability to configure up to 2 custom buttons per production to link to additional or supplemental content such as directions or parking instructions. Please reference the documentation in our help system for more information. Requires a minimum of 15.1.3.
    • Giving History Page: The contribution history section previously on the account history page in v6 has been released in version 7 as a separate page. Individual contributions / donations are listed with their amounts and you have the ability to control how many years back you want data to display. Please reference the documentation in our help system for more information. Requires 15.1.x.

  • Small Enhancements
    • Performance: The events detail page was updated to optimize the calls being made to render performance information and additional events.
    • Accessibility: Checkout Survey form was updated to support missing label for a text input field.

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Hosted Payments - MasterCard: Orders with billing addresses using specific countries like Serbia, Malaysia and Republic of Korea were failing at checkout. This has been fixed.
    • Overview Page:
      • If a performance is sold out, the "Performance Sold Out Message" displays, but the "Events Detail Link Text" no longer displays as well.
      • If performance has limited availability and the limited availability message is configured to display, the token to display the available seat count was displaying as text instead of displaying the availability seat count. This has been fixed.
    • SYOS: The price type alias has been updated to utilize the new data point in TR_PRICE_TYPE that was released in 15.1.
    • Payment Method Alias: The payment method "alias" in LTR_TNEW_DYN_PAYMENT_METHOD now correctly overrides an "alias" value in LTR_TNEW_ALIAS_PAYMENT_METHOD.
    • Custom Forms: If a custom form contains more than one "option_value" for a checkbox field_type, the first checkbox was selected when a user tried to click on a subsequent checkbox option. This has been fixed.
    • Guest Checkout: QAS/Experian's Address Verification Service window was not submitting successfully in Internet Explorer 11. This has been fixed.
