V7.25.0 Deployed to all LIVE Sites

The 7.25.0 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: If you are not on Tessitura version 15.0.x or 15.1.x, this will be the last release of TNEW deployed to your TEST and LIVE environments until you have upgraded Tessitura. Once you have upgraded to v15.0.x or 15.1.x in your test environment, the latest version of TNEW will be deployed to that environment for your review so that you may complete testing of both Tessitura and TNEW as part of the regular upgrade process. Once on Tessitura v15.0.x or 15.1.x, you will begin receiving the regular TNEW releases that include new features and fixes.

To confirm which version of Tessitura (and/or TNEW) you are running, go to the home page of the TNEW Admin site. The version numbers are located at the top of the page in red.

If you are self-hosted, after you upgrade to 15.x of Tessitura, you will need to contact us to manually deploy the latest release of TNEW first to your TEST environment for you to review and then, when you are ready, to your LIVE environment.

For v7, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • New features:
    • Additional Currency Support: TNEW has been updated to support formatting of currencies including Scandinavian currencies (Danish Krone, Norwegian Krone and Swedish Krona).
Please NOTE: Payment Express hosted payments are required in order to use these new currencies.

  • Small enhancements
    • Address Verification Services Logging: We have enhanced logging for our integration with address verification service (QAS/Experian) in order to track how credits are being utilized within TNEW.
    • TNEW Admin:
      • Version numbers of both Tessitura and TN Express Web now appear at the top of the home page within TNEW's Admin site in order for you to quickly identify which version is running in both TEST and LIVE environments.
      • The "TNEW User Guide" link at the top of TNEW's Admin site has been updated to direct you to the appropriate documentation based on the version of TNEW and version of Tessitura you are running.
    • Performance Product Type Exposed: A new property in the "Performance" section of product type manager ("Product Type Name Displayed") allows you to display the product type name below the performance title throughout the transaction path (from overview page, calendar, listing page to checkout). In addition, you can override the product type name with a more public-facing name using the new "Product Type Name Override" property. The product type is also exposed as a new attribute on the page (data-tn-product-type-id).

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • TNEW Hosted Payment Window: The zip code/postal code field was hardcoded to be required regardless of country. This has been fixed so the postal code field is required or optional based on the settings in TR_Country.
    • Flex Packages with Timed Zones: If performances within a flex package were configured with timed zones and the Zone Map tab has entries in the "Time" column, the performance of the flex package page was negatively impacted. This has been fixed in TNEW.
    • Payment Page: If running a customization using pre-cart validation on the checkout page, the customization was not displaying upon initial load of the page (it did if you refreshed the page). This has been fixed.
    • Error Handling for Broken Sessions: If a user encounters a problem with their session while navigating through TNEW, they would get a generic error message, but their session was left in a problematic state. This has been updated to present user with error message more specific to their situation. This message can be edited using the "Session Breaking Error Message" property in the Page Editor for the "Error" page.
