v7.21.2 Deployed to all LIVE sites

The 7.21.2 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

In addition to fixes and enhancements originally released in 7.21.0 and 7.21.1, 7.21.2 includes a fix for a defect discovered during beta with payment plans in v7.

Fixes to reported defects

  • Payment Plans (Beta): The "Deferred by Payment Plan" and "Due Now" subtotal were not displaying on the payment page or the receipt page. This has been fixed.

For 7.21.1 a fix for a critical defect in v7 was addressed.

  • Fixes to reported defects
    • Guest Checkout: In T_Defaults, if "Require address checkout" was set to "yes" when "Require address" was set to "No", users were not able checkout. This has been fixed.

For v7.21.0, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. This is not a complete list. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • Features:
    • Payment Plans - Still in Beta but now with WorldPay / Vantiv
      • Payment Plans are in beta and this release includes support for WorldPay (aka Vantiv) in addition to Payment Express which was released in 7.20
      • Please note that this feature requires a minimum of 15.1. The "Payment Plan" component will not be available in the component editor until you have upgraded to 15.1 (once it's released).
      • Please also note that in order to use payment plans, tokenization must be supported as well as ability to store payment info in Tessitura.

  • Small Enhancements:
    • New Production Season Overview Page: We heard a lot of feedback regarding the deprecation of the production season detail page from v6 and so we have the initial release of the new production season overview page available. It can be found at <yourdomain>/overview/<productionseasonid or slug>. We will continue to add functionality to this page in the upcoming releases, but you can now link to a production-season specific listing page if you prefer that user experience. You can also configure a "link back" to the production season information from the /events/detail page.
    • Additional Events User Experience: Based on feedback regarding customers interaction with additional events drop down with not understanding they needed to click the "submit" button for the date to change to their selection especially in mobile causing users to select the wrong date. This release includes another option to display the additional events in a list view that is collapsed by default but then can be expanded and user can click on appropriate date. If you select "List" as the additional events format, you can then configure the new "Additional Events List Collapsible" to "True".

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE: We've made a correction so that if nothing is selected for the "Additional Events Format" property in the product type editor, the additional events/items will not display on the events/detail page any more. Please check your "Additional Events Format" settings to ensure additional events are displaying as expected on the events/detail pages.

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Site Health page in Site Admin: Navigating to "Site Health" page in the TNEW admin site no longer causes error and no longer forces you to log in again.
    • Address Verification Window: The "Submit" button for selecting an option on the address verification window wasn't functioning correctly in IE 11 / Edge browsers. This has been fixed.
    • Receipt Page Shipping Method: If a value exists in LTR_TNEW_DYN_SHIPPING_METHOD, it appears on both the payment page and receipt page. It previously was only displaying on the payment
    • Package Listing Page: The Package Listing Page was not respecting "startdate" and "enddate" parameters when passed in via the URL. This has been fixed.
    • Flex Packages: There was an issue with version 7 using performance status values in "TR_PERF_STATUS" table in order to determine whether a performance in a flex package was available. We have removed this dependency so that performances are available based on their Onsale flag only.
    • Renewals: When v7 preview mode was enabled, the v6 renewal notes page would error out. This has been fixed.
