v7.14 Deployed to all LIVE Sites

The 7.14.0 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

For v6 & v7, the following update was made regarding the new Shared Session API service. The full list of fixes included in this update is published in the v6 release notes section of the v6 TN Express Web User Guide.

• An update was made to the new Shared Session via API service to support validating SessionKeys. 

For v7, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide. 

• New enhancements:
  
  • Account Management: For email addresses, we now support RFC 5322 standards (including support of scenarios like having a special character included at the end of the user name portion of the email address). 
  • Product Editor: "Performance Description" and "Performance Purchase Instructions" properties can now be managed at the production season level which allows for making global changes at production season level now instead of at each individual performance level. 
    PLEASE NOTE: We recommend that you review your content in TEST to ensure that your existing performance-level content still displays as expected, but that you can also turn on the inheritance at the production season level in order to make bulk changes. In addition, 7.14 supports synchronization with the performance-level content for both "Performance Description" and "Performance Purchase Instructions" that is set in Tessitura in the web content tab. However, if you want to set content for these two properties at the production season level, you will need to manually update that in the TNEW Admin product editor. 
  • Flex Packages: Production seasons within a performance group can be sorted by date of first performance. 
  • Select Your Own Seat (SYOS): 
    • Improved keyboard and screen reader support of clickable SYOS elements. This is the first of updates being made to SYOS towards our accessibility goals. 
    • In the SYOS legend, the text next to the seat symbols can now be edited in the SYOS Component. 
    • When a user tries to select more seats than the seat maximum quantity is set to, they received an error. This message is currently hardcoded. It has been updated to remove reference to "cart" in the message to support those who reference the cart as "basket" or other labels. 
  • TNEW Payments: Improved logging in order to better analyze behavior of the TNEW hosted payment modal window. 
    
    
• Fixes to reported defects:
  
  • Single Tix & Package Paths: Sold out zones were appearing as selectable. This has been fixed to improve user experience. Questions about how this affects your TNEW Site? Please open a TASK ticket with the Web Products Team.
  • Interests: Household interests were being updated if user was logged in as an affiliate account. This has been fixed. 
  • Confirmation Page: HABO Only text was displaying on confirmation page whenever HABO was selected as opposed to displaying when HABO was the ONLY delivery method. HABO Only Text will now only display on the payment page.
  • Select Your Own Seat (SYOS): When price range display for SYOS was set to "Default Price Type", the prices on the SYOS screen buttons did not display cents in the price ($110 instead of $110.00).
