v7.13 Deployed to All LIVE sites

The 7.13.0 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

For v6 & v7, the following updates have been made to Payment Express Hosted Payments. The full list of fixes included in this update is published in the v6 release notes section of the v6 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • For users with invalid sessions (meaning cookie with Tessitura Session is missing or Tessitura Session has been deleted/expired from session table), if the patron navigates or returns to payment processor response page somehow, TNEW now checks the existence of and the validity of the session at different points in the process (including rebuilding session based on session key passed in to and from the payment processor) in order to best manage the user experience and to only trigger voids when deemed appropriate. Please note that even with this additional logic, there are still situations where the user's particular situation may cause payments without orders, but the user will be messaged accordingly in order to contact the box office.

For v7, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • Flex Packages & Package Listing Page
We are pleased to announce that the 7.13 release includes fixes based on the most critical of beta feedback from the organizations who participated in that process and flex packages and package listing page are officially out of beta and are released. The primary fixes include:
      • If a package only contains "optional" performance groups (no performance minimum), "required selections" and "additional selections" subheads do not appear in the mini cart
      • Performance Group names are not necessarily mean to be public-facing and so now you can mask the performance group name with generic performance group label using the "Performance Group Label" property in either "Flex Packages - Standard" or "Flex Packages - Auxiliary" components.
      • Performances in optional performance groups now consistently display in the mini-cart
      • If optional performance group contained only performances in the past, an error would be thrown preventing access to the package. The package should still be available but only display performance groups that contain performances in the future.
      • If production season contains both past and future performances, the past ones will not display but will no longer receive error when selecting a performance in a production season if that production season contained performances in the past.
      • Removing one performance from the mini cart was causing all performances to be removed under certain circumstances.
    • Package Listing Page
      • Displays "no packages available" message if there are no packages to display
      • Displays packages with package date = today (they previously were only displaying packages in the future not including today)

  • New enhancements:
    • Select Your Own Seat (SYOS) now supports deep linking directly to a specific SYOS screen id. Now you can use an embedded link in order to drive users directly to a particular section/screen within the seat map (eg link directly to Balcony seat map). The new query string parameter is ?Section=<syos screen id>.
    • Update Password page now handles the "success message" state a bit better to make it more clear to the customer that their password was successfully updated and process completed.
    • The version of jQuery (2.2.4) has been patched to address potential security vulnerabilities.
    • The new "API" Shared Session endpoint has been updated to set the "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header on the response to leverage the CORS framework.
    • The HTML editor in all of the TNEW Admin editors has been updated to remove unnecessary widgets in order to streamline the interface so that only the relevant options are displayed.

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • WYSIWYG Editor: When using a widget (such as adding a link) in the HTML editor via the inline content editor, the widget's modal window wouldn't allow you to submit, close or cancel. This has been fixed.
    • Renewals: Super package renewals with performances in the past were displaying on the /packages/renewals page but threw an error when trying to add to cart.
    • Address Form & Patron Details Form: For optional fields like middle name, address 1, address 2, city and postal code, if a value previously existed in Tessitura but then patron updated this information by deleting the information in that field (leaving it blank), the previous data was not being deleted upon update.
