v7.12 Deployed to All LIVE sites

The 7.12 release has been deployed to all TNEW Live Sites.

For v6 & v7, the following updates have been made to Payment Express Hosted Payments. The full list of fixes included in this update is published in the v6 release notes section of the v6 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • For users with valid sessions, if they have reached the receipt page but returned to payment processor response page or the payment page itself (eg via back button), the void logic we added in 7.10 would trigger causing user to have a valid order with no payment. We have added logic to check to see if order was completed in the session before triggering the void logic and return the user to the receipt page. Note: 7.13 will include further updates to handle users returning with invalid sessions.

For v7, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • IMPORTANT CHANGES were made to management of INTERESTS on the create account, create account brief and update interests pages. The configuration of your current LIVE site may be affected by the deployment of 7.12.
Please review the default settings below and confirm whether or not you will need to update the configuration once 7.12 is deployed to match your business requirements. We recommend reviewing on your test site in preparation for the live deployment.
    • The "Create Account" page will display TNEW_Reg_ keywords by default after the deployment.
    • The "Create Account Brief" page will display TNEW_ShortReg_keywords by default after the deployment.
    • The "Update Interests" page will display TNEW_ keywords by default after the deployment.
    • Each page's configuration is controlled for that page in the Page Editor using the "Interests Displayed" property. You can choose from the following configuration for each page: TNEW_, TNEW_Reg only, TNEW_ ShortReg only TNEW_Reg & TNEW_ShortReg or none.

  • For Select Your Own Seat (SYOS) we have three major enhancements:
    • Legend functionality has been added to SYOS along with additional controls for managing how price ranges, price types and whether price range reflects default price type pricing or reflects range of prices across all price types. Please see our documentation in our help system.
    • The sort order of the buttons for each screen (or section) can now be controlled via new property in the SYOS configuration file. In addition, you can control whether the button for a screen (or section) display on the events detail page or not - also in via a new property in the SYOS configuration file. Please submit a TASK ticket if you would like to make adjustments.
    • The Maximum Seat Quantity property used to limit amount of tickets a user can add to cart in the best available path is now respected in SYOS as well.

  • Flex Package Beta Feedback
    • Performances in the a Flex Package that did not have the Subscription MOS associated with them were erroring out. This has been fixed.
    • Shared Session is now supported with Flex Packages. Organizations with shared session who allow users to create flex packages on their custom site can now use the TNEW cart for transacting.

  • New enhancements:
    • Ability to add static text to the bottom of any page in TNEW.

  • Fixes to reported defects:
    • Promo Code: When entering a promo code, in some situations there was a lag in the promotion taking effect on the front end of TNEW causing it to appear that the promotion was not being applied. This has been fixed.
    • Renewals: In some cases, renewal orders were not displaying in v7 thought they were being returned in v6. This has been fixed.
    • HTML Properties: 4 HTML or What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) properties in TNEW's admin were displaying the actual html code instead of rendering the html correctly on the front end. These 4 properties are all in the component editor: Patron Details > Section Subhead, Login Form > Section Subhead, Address Form > Create/Update Account Address Section Subhead and Interests Form > Section Subhead.
    • Phone Number on Address Form: Since the phone number field is required, the control to not display the field has been removed.
    • Sold Out Message on Additional Events: The sold out message will no longer display for performances that are not sold out.
    • Contiguous Seats: Reserving non-contiguous seats was not working as expected. This has been fixed.
    • Single Zones in best available path: We reviewed the rules regarding display of single zones in the best available path and now singular GA zones will be hidden and singular seated zones will display but be pre-selected.
