v7.11 Deployed to all TEST sites

The 7.11.0 release has been deployed to all TNEW Test Sites.

For v6 & v7, the following enhancements and defects were addressed. The full list of fixes included in this update is published in the v6 release notes section of the v6 TN Express Web User Guide.

  • Shared Session: Two important security updates were made to the new "redirect" Shared Session functionality. The two methods (Method 1 and Method 2) will no longer succeed when requests are made using HTTP, and a revised version of Method 2 will require the session key to be encrypted before passing to TNEW. We recommend any organization using the "Redirect" Shared Session Service to update to the new Method 2 and ensure requests are being made over HTTPS. 
  • Shared Session: A new "API" based version of shared session has been released. We recommend that you use this approach as opposed to the "Redirect" method that was released earlier this year. Please see documentation and sample site
  • In support of v15, the TNEW admin's "username" field for logging in now supports more than 9 characters.

For v7, additional fixes and enhancements were released including those outlined below. The full list of enhancements and fixes included in this update is published in the v7 release notes section of the v7 TN Express Web User Guide. 

  • Errors related to REST Credentials were sporadically causing issues using TNEW Admin especially the product editor. This has been fixed.
  • Super Packages and Flex Packages now support defaulting to pre-selecting the zone when there is only one zone available. 
  • Packages now respect "Sell as Unseated" component property correctly.
  • Fixed Packages now display "Unavailable" messaging if all zones are sold out. 
  • Flex Packages were updated with some minor adjustments. Please see release notes for details.
  • For the listing/calendar page, startdate and enddate query string parameters display correct date range of events again. 
  • Updates to Hosted Payment path include new error message when TNEW does not receive a response back from requesting status of transaction. For those organizations using Vantiv and/or Mastercard, we recommend that you update the new error message to include box office phone number by submitting TASK ticket. 
  • Inline Page Content Editor is no longer erroring out when adding multiple <main> tags in the template.
