Hi everyone,
I have set up a discounted flex package that obviously has its own source code, and it's working fine, but what I can't do is exchanges in that discounted price point. The system isn't recognising it for the concert being exchanged into.
Steps I've taken:
1. CYO discount exchanges only under price type discount and associated it with CYO subs
2. associated it in price rule sets
3.added it to discounts in ticketing set up and linked it to CYO.
What have I missed?
Mari
Mari,
Does everything you need have access in the mode of sale you are processing the exchange under? That has bitten me a few times with things like this.
Also start and end dates as well for price types.
Jeff
Could you elaborate on the first point please?
I will do my best! I know that we process most exchanges in a separate Mode of Sale called Exchanges. I have forgotten to add in the past new price types I created into that Mode of Sale when I've done it for the regular package mode of sale.
Also, wondering if you can clarify what you are trying to exchange. Are you looking to exchange one perf in the package to a different perf that could have been added to the same flex package? Are you doing this in a new order or the original order?
I bought a discounted pkg to test the exchange mode. I want to change one concert for another. Package is already sold & printed so def an exchange, not flexing the show.
The exchange works fine as far as that. What's not happening is the system is recognising the show in the package at the correct price cut, but not it's replacement show. We did this last season and like an idiot I didn't write down what we figured out. Everything so far as the back end looks the same as last year, but clearly there's a step missing somewhere,
Are you able to see the discounted price type when using the drop down menu for the new show? or is it not showing up at all? Is that price type locked behind a source code and if so, is that source selected?
