Aloha,
We are looking for a solution for our outdoor concerts that have general admission and VIP sections.
I explored the composite ticket and it doesn't seem like it will work for this purpose because our volunteer staff consistently double scan a bar code.
I am looking into the possibility of printing two separate bar codes on a ticket for our outdoor concerts.
I'm thinking of putting one bar code that is for entry into the concert and a 2nd barcode to be scanned when they get their VIP wristbands for access into that area.
In the past, we didn't have Print At Home ticketing and we were able to physically mark the tickets when we issue a wristband.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Tiffany,
Have you experimented with using Access Areas with your tickets/scanning? It's been a while since I've used it, but we tied tickets with a certain price type so that those folks would have access to a selective post-show event in our lounge. I'm assuming you could make it work for you here - but my brain is very foggy on the details of how. https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Tessitura.htm#N-Scan_Application_Guide/Configuring%20Special%20Access.htm that's the help information for configuring the access areas - you may need a separate scanner but it should work.
