v16 Conversion

Good morning wonderful ticketing pros! 

We at the Peace Center are gearing up for our v16 conversion (yay!) but wanted to reach out to this community to connect with similar venues who have already converted. 

Is there anyone representing a medium/large PAC in the group who has gone through the conversion yet? Especially those venues who have lots of customizations that have to be redone in the new version?

  • Hi Lindsey.  We upgraded last week and are still trying to fix many unexpected obstacles.  Mainly, getting Booking Protect functional in TNEW.  It seems that some (maybe many) integrations could not be properly tested and when moved to production ran into some issues. Also, when we were in the testing phase we moved from v16.05 to v16.06, and when we went live in Production, it was with the v16.06. Again a number of unexpected obstacles in v16.06. We too have to redo a few customizations. My assessment may be skewed a bit just out of some frustrations in not being able to operate with Booking Protect, which we have grown to rely on and as it turns out is a money maker. Have you run into any similar issues?  Also, and perhaps on a side note, I see you have a message up saying you are currently not taking in person or phone orders. Is the Tessitura application down in South Caroline.  We are down in the Northeast.  Michael Dundon 

  • there's a major outage in the North American East region.  I've been down in NYC from at least 11.30am, if not earlier

  • Yes, for some reason I thought it was just Northeast, but now see it is the entire east coast. Here is the latest update on the ticket I opened

    The issue impacting members in the US East region has been identified and a fix is being implemented.  We do not have an ETA at this time, but will provide an update as soon as we have one.
