Call for TLCC Orlando 2023 Lyricists!

Hello Tessiturians!

As we prepare for TLCC Orlando in August, we are sending out the call for lyricists to give us irreverent, nonprofit arts & culture/Tessitura takes on these songs.

First off, here's the setlist we're currently working from:

• ABBA – Waterloo
• Backstreet Boys – I Want It That Way
• Vanessa Carlton – A Thousand Miles
• Miley Cyrus – Party in the USA
• George Michael – Careless Whisper
• Mighty Mighty Bosstones – The Impression That I Get
• Dolly Parton – 9 to 5
• Reel Big Fish – Take On Me
• Rent – Seasons of Love
• Donna Summer – Bad Girls

Please note that this is still subject to change depending on variables such as how many attendees can perform in the band, what instruments we have good representation for, and basic considerations like how long our set ends up being.

If you are interested in writing lyrics for The Tessiturians at TLCC Orlando, please reply to this post by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 26th.

Based on responses, we will follow up by email and assign lyricists to songs by Wednesday, May 3rd. Once lyricists have their song, we will expect finished lyrics by Thursday, June 1st.
