So, this past weekend me and the missus settled down in front of youtube to check out the Washington band vids.
A huge thanks to Brian Feldman for doing this. He captured the crowd, all of us, the little ones and the beach balls. The guy is a great videographer!
I was really struck by how well the group worked together. Especially considering that we only meet once a year. Being under the baton of the Mighty Richie Warburton certainly contributed to our coherence .
There is ample stage craft and schtick in the videos. Great job of surfing the shenanigans leading into the encore btw. Kind of lends credence to my theory that arts administrators are either frustrated artists or middle children or both.
If this gets any bigger the band is going to have to bill the Network for royalties. Jeez, how many companies would kill to have their conferences look like this much fun?
