add to this (and this is a real stretch):
'Time Warp' from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Written by Richard O'Brien. He was born in the UK but emigrated to NZ.
Do you still need help with NZ artists? Cos there are better choices than Time Warp - Richard O'Brien is not considered to be a Kiwi, just another Brit who wanted to escape.

· Dave Dobbyn - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0pWejAnLUQ – big hit in the 80s and is still used quite a bit to promote NZ to tourists etc. Easy to get music
· Split Enz – The Finn brother in their first band. Easy to get music
