Worldpay updates frustration

Hi All,

I was blindsided by the last Worldpay update on 9/26 when our web developer reached out after another client of their's had their payment form go down after the update and he tested ours and it was also down.  Our payment form/ecommerce was down for over a day and half, but if anyone tried to put their order through (despite our web banner warnings) they were charged and the order didn't save in Tess, so I had to refund all of those in IQ/Worldpay.

Now I have learned another similar update is happening tomorrow 10/12.  I only learned about it because a friend at Seattle Rep forwarded me the email.

I reached out to Worldpay to ask how I can get on their email notifications list for these types of updates and got this response.  

This is to confirm the receipt of your concern. However, your request would require
assistance from the live advisor. Please contact the Merchant Support at 1-877-744-5300 and select the option for Merchant Services. They are open from 8am-9pm EST and they will be happy to assist you.

Seriously??  I have a login to IQ and am registered as a system administrator.  Why are you not updating me and why should I have to call your support line to be added to your communications?

I am so excited to be switching to Tessitura Merchant Services.  It'll be like Christmas morning.  But until then, here's hoping our website doesn't become non-functional tomorrow.

If you know how to get on their email list please let me know.  If any Worldpay users were also unaware of tomorrow's update I hope this was a little bit of a heads up.
