New User Learning Rubrics

Hi all!

Does anyone have examples of new user onboarding rubrics? I think it'd be helpful to develop something like a basic user rubric, power user rubric, etc. while onboarding so that common goals are clear from the beginning. Has anyone done this? Any additional comments welcome!

  • It's not a rubric but we have training tracks (all outlined in a Word document) based on user group that provide the training videos, worksheets, etc needed to be successful in that user group. Every phase in the track has to be completed and all worksheets "graded" to gain access to Production for that user group. There is also a general "Getting Started in Tessitura" document that provides some background on Tessitura, our history with Tessitura and how to access all the important things (this website, help system, how to login, how to contact support, etc). That is the only document that really encompasses information that absolutely every THS user must have.

Definitely working towards having a full training rubric to easily reference outside of the tracks so that we can more easily provide objectives etc. We're also working on a survey by user group/department that will be sent out at least once a year to gauge proficiency/comfort with functionalities within the system so that we can make sure to offer further retraining on those areas that users feel less comfortable with. The rubric and the survey will go hand in hand.
