I had this posted in the Analytics Coffee board, but didn't really get any bites. Thought I would post here as well.
I am once again trying to wrap my head around a concept, and I hope you all could assist.
What I am looking for is a pivot of all membership renewal amounts for the year in Analytics. (calendar)
This will include any un-renewed amounts from Jan 1 to today, as well tending amounts for any renewals that are coming up to the end of year.
Thoughts?
I just feel like I am asking 2 different questions and expecting a single answer.

To be clear, when you say "un-renewed amounts" you mean amounts that you DIDN'T receive but would have if someone had renewed their membership. So in January 2022 Veronica Patrick made a $1,000 membership payment, but come January 2023 she didn't renew it. You want to count that $1,000 in the totals? And you want to see what renewal amounts you might get in the remaining calendar year (assuming everyone up for renewal does so at the same level)? Let me know if I'm misunderstanding any of that!

It almost seems like 2 questions, but would like it in one answer.
Got it! I wonder, then, if it would be easier to keep track of this information through Plans? You could put last year's gift in as the goal amount (or Ask amount) and pull both that information as well as the actual income received.
Not sure that would work for us.
I wonder if the Campaign Giving Comparison report could help? It's kind of a LYBUNTY (though doesn't need to be used that way) and you can compare giving both last year and this year, including folks who gave last year and not yet this year. It has date fields so you can look at calendar year instead of fiscal year.
