I am still new to Tessitura and learning a lot every day. We are on V15.2.35 currently. Is there a report I can run that will isolate first-time donors within a given time period or is this best done via lists or extractions? I am interested in determining number of first-time donors and their total giving amounts.

So I know we have two criteria options that would work for this, though they're both custom made for us. One is Contribution Earliest Fiscal Year and the other is First Gift Date. If it's helpful, I've included screenshots of the query below.
I know we also have an output set option that allows us to pull a constituent's first gift information (date, amount, fund, etc.) so if you've got that available you could pull a complete list of everyone who has given this FY and use that in the output to delete out anyone who doesn't qualify.

I checked with our CRM Systems Manager, and we are unable to use the query you provided since it's a custom build. Do you happen to have the local view if you are willing to share or anything else that would be needed to include into Tess?
