Is anyone using the new Planned Giving feature within Fundraising? We do a Custom set up now but are thinking about switching over so we can streamline it better and be able to use list/reporting functionalities. Any feedback?
We're using the v.15 Planned Giving feature, but I confess that it's been rocky getting set up in it. It seems like the kind of module that works best if you have very clear uses for each of the drop-down menus in a Planned Gift record. That said, I've just about finished adding all of our PGs from our old spreadsheets into the Tessitura module, and it sure is nice to be able to just pull everyone's name and something like their bequest amount in a single report.
I'm still struggling with streamlining entering info in a PG Plan vs in the PG record (sometimes it seems like it makes sense to enter things twice). And I haven't played around enough with Analytics to see if Planned Gifts show up there too, but it would be great if they did!
Interested to hear how things have been going for you so far, and what you've managed to set up smoothly!
