Good afternoon from Las Vegas.
I help to write our donor profiles on our blog. In the past, we selected participants from relationships with members. Are there other (data-driven) ways we could consider doing this?
Also, if you've come across any nice examples of donor profiles please share links in the comments. We did a Q&A format last year but want to look at other approaches.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, JM! I think this is a really great topic! For my part, we don't have any donor spotlights at the moment, though we've talked about creating one as part of a biannual newsletter we'd like to do. We don't necessarily have a data-driven approach to choosing at the moment, though I think we'd like to focus on a range of giving options (so corporate partners, planned giving donors, maybe a focus on folks driven to give through a sense of community). That said I'd love to see donor profile examples from other orgs (along with ideas of choosing participants).
Hi Colleen, I found a library of sample donor communications through a Texas Historic Commission webinar today:

You do have to provide your email, but this may be a good resource to search for various templates and examples!
