Was wondering if anyone could point me towards benchmark metrics for ecommerce, but more specifically around ticketing contexts.
We've been looking at evaluating the performance of our website's purchase path, so for example looking at a funnel visualisation of drop-off rates at each stage of our checkout.
During our busier on-sales, typically 60%-70% of customers who add a ticket to the basket go on to complete their order. This instinctively feels positive, but it's difficult to know whether we can viably improve on this without having any comparable metrics.
We've found more general ecommerce benchmarks from sources such as Baymard, but I'm making the assumption that these would be different for high-demand tickets (where there's a limited time window).
