I was so sorry to have missed you all today; I confess I'm a little snowed under at the moment!
I'm co-planning a session on Finance at the conference in Birmingham in November. It feels to us that some Finance departments can rely too often on standard reports and day-to-day processes. It's often very hard to effect meaningful change.
This isn't true for every organisation, of course, and it strikes me that Analytics could be a really powerful tool for the Finance team if used properly.
