Request for email strategy knowledge sharing

Hi all, I work in the Marketing team at National Museums Scotland in Edinburgh. We’re keen to do some knowledge-sharing with other organisations on use of Wordfly/Tess and organisational email strategy.

We started working with Tessitura last September and moved our emails from Mailchimp to Wordfly at the same time. We’ve got the basics setup but are now keen to make our e-comms more strategic and take advantage of the data we’ve been collecting through ticketing etc.

Topics we’re looking to cover: 

  • Customer email journey from purchase through to email sign up – what messages get sent when via automated, marketing and membership emails
  • Ownership of audiences – agreeing email schedule across different audiences and internal departments
  • Granular/targeted marketing emails – smarter, more targeted use of conditional blocks

Our work is split across three main museum sites and covers exhibitions, events, and a Membership scheme.
