Prospect2 vs Wordfly

Hello everyone! I work with CRM at the Royal Swedish Opera.
We are considering changing from Wordfly to Prospect2 at the moment, as we see many limitations in wordfly when it comes to marketing automation, segmentation and so forth.
So, I would like to know if any of you are using Prospect2? What are your experiences with that, what functionality are you using and why did you choose Prospect2? Is it worth the costs? It would be of great value to us to hear about this.

Wishing you all a great day! All the best from Stockholm!

  • The biggest issue for us was lack of conditional blocks that integrated with Tessitura and allowed us to have different content blocks for different users. For example, we have multiple constituencies that tie in to which customer contact information appears in their email. Donors of a certain level are shown a block with contact info for the Development phone line, where as everyone else gets Customer Service/Box Office information.

Or if someone was a subscriber, we had a block in our general newsletter that thanked them for subscribing or removed the block - but if they weren't a subscriber they saw a block of content pushing them to subscribe.

So much of our messaging in everything - from performance reminders to surveys to sales emails - all rely on dynamic content blocks.

Additionally, members of my former team met with other organizations who tried it and called it prehistoric. Template flexibility was another issue.

  • Thank you! We don't use a lot of conditional content. Prospect has the functionality but we would have to upgrade our account to use it. I don't know how much of a difference that is in cost. They did finally come out with mobile templates this year, not just mobile responsive so that has been a big improvement.
