I'm hoping someone has advice for us regarding a new preschool program that we'll be rolling out for the full school year this September. Ideally, families will register online (in TNEW) this summer for a 2- or 3-day/wk option for the 10-month school year starting in September. We've enabled two payment plans in Tessitura for the preschool "performances" to charge a $100 non-refundable deposit with the first month's tuition at registration, and billing on the 1st of each month for the next 9 months (Oct - June with reduced charges for December & June). If there's space in the classes, though, families may register at any time during the year, and the tuition would be prorated accordingly. We can set monthly pricing events to reduce the overall cost, but we haven't figured out the most efficient (least manual) way to update TR_BILLING_SCHEDULE for the payment plans. We'll have to remove the previous month from the Bill Amounts and Bill Dates, and add the $100 deposit to the current month. Has anyone had experience with rolling registration and tuition proration using Billing Schedules? Thank you so much for any suggestions you might have!

We actually do exactly this for our pre-school program. We do still have some manual tracking in an excel file, but they all have a unique order for the pre-school tuition that we set up payment schedules for and charge them on either a monthly or quarterly basis. We have one performance that has an editable price that we adjust based on how many days they are doing and their yearly tuition. Id be happy to chat more about it if you would like!
