Many organizations, especially those outside the performing arts, do not have seasons. We may use Tessitura seasons to track fiscal years, but invariably some programs cross over fiscal years. Our July 1 fiscal year starts right in the middle of our summer camp "season," and our IMAX movie schedule never lines up with that date. This can make integrations far more complex than they should be, because we need to track multiple production season IDs and recognize that they are actually the same production, when really we just want to track a single production ID.
Wherever available, TNEW should include these IDs in the data attributes in its markup, and in the datalayer.
