Tessitura Community Sandbox now available!

I am pleased to announce that the Tessitura Community Sandbox is now available!

Developer and Ecosystem partners may request access to these resources, which give you an early look at v16 and 15.1 functionality and the associated APIs. Keep in mind that the sandbox receives development progress as it is built. You will see partially built features that may not behave fully as expected. Particularly with v16, as the version is completed, the behavior of features and API endpoints will change. 

The Community Sandbox is intended to be a place for members to explore and experiment with current and upcoming versions of the Tessitura application. It is periodically updated and overwritten, so system configuration and changes made during sessions cannot be expected to persist across sessions. We anticipate updating the sandbox databases at least once-per-month, usually prior to an Open Studio. 

The Tessitura Community Sandbox offers two Tessitura instances available to Tessitura Network organizations and staff members. They are the currently released version of Tessitura (15.1) and the next version of Tessitura to be released (16.0). These instances are hosted by the Tessitura Network and accessible externally by browser and by remote desktop.

Accessing the Community Sandbox

Each organization can request one sandbox login to share at their organization. 

• Already have Community Sandbox connection details and credentials? You can use those existing details including the remote desktop connection details to connect to the new sandbox. 
  If you do not know if your organization already has a log in, please check with your system administrator to find out if one already exists. 
• If you need to request a new log in for your organization, please email sandbox@tessitruanetwork.com and you will receive a welcome email with all of the connection details. 
• Do you have connection details but can't remember them? Please email sandbox@tessituranetwork.com and we can reset them for you and send you a new welcome email. 

What do you have access to?

Tessitura v16 instance
In version 16, the Tessitura REST API and Tessitura Web applications have been combined into one application. You'll see that reflected in the URLs below for v16. 

• Tessitura Web - Access to Tessitura Web from a browser only requires a valid set of Tessitura credentials to authenticate and explore the API. Your IP does not need to be added to an allow list for access.

• REST API - The v16 sandbox REST API only requires a valid set of Tessitura credentials to authenticate and explore the API. Your IP does not need to be added to an allow list for access.

• Tessitura REST Help Pages - Once logged into Tessitura Web, you can access REST Help Documentation under Navigation > Tools > API Docs.
