Group ticket headers in v16

I'm still testing V16 (1 year and 9 months later...). I realized that our VS department hasn't been using the group ticket headers we have set up in v15, but before I get them back in the habit I wanted to test it in v16. But there isn't a Group Entry Mode in v16's Access Control. Does anyone still use this functionality somehow? The documentation wasn't terribly helpful.

  • There's a new data element that you need to use on the ticket design, Order Barcode, which will include the prefix and add any required padding. Just printing the order number as a barcode won't work. Also, order barcodes printed from v15 won't work. However, you can manually type in the prefix and any padding 0s needed for the required length. This can get you through the transition time, and it can be used for testing when you don't have any of the new barcodes printed.

    If you are using the new data element and things still aren't working, you should open a help ticket so the support staff can work through the issues with you.
