I wanted to check here before opening a ticket. Has anyone run into an error when attempting to zero out/adjust an incorrect payment before? And if so does anyone know how to fix this?
We are on v16 and are using fixed amount membership levels. I have tried to fix this by deactivating the membership before processing the adjustment. I even turned off the deactivate membership on adjustment to zero option for the membership organization as well, but I'm still getting this error. (These were tried in test)
Would anyone have any advice on this before I open a ticket? I have attached an image of the error that I am getting.

We've gotten that error on v16 too. I put in a ticket about it and support said it was solved in 16.0.10. We upgraded to that a few weeks ago, but now we're getting a different error that says "It is not possible to renew a membership that is reacquisition or not a member." We still haven't been able to adjust or zero out pledges since our upgrade at the end of August.
Hmmmmm ok well we are currently on 16.0.9 so I guess its looking like its time for an update soon anyways.
I might need to put in a ticket anyway just so they know that there is a different error that we are running into with one of out successor membership levels.
Thank you for letting me know hopefully the second error that you are running into gets fixed pretty quickly. Being able to adjust payments out is pretty important in my humble opinion. Haha
