Hi All,
I'm a newer database manager and I had a question about posting Web API batches for donations.
I'm trying to figure out where the Web API batches are housed/how I can look at them. Looking at the help documentation here:
https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v160/TN-Application/Batch-Administration/Web-API-Batches.htm?Highlight=web%20api
It mentions that all web batches need to be manually posted. However when I look in the Contributions screen and search by all I'm not seeing them. (I'm not seeing them in the closed or the posted batches section)
Is there something that I'm missing or do I need to run some sort of report or SQL code?
We are currently on v16 so maybe the help documentation is outdated but if anyone has any suggestions it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Zachary Little
Hi Zachary,Our org is on TNEW and all of our web batches will auto close once a new transaction is made in a new day. They don't autopost, that is always manually done. If you're not seeing them another tip is to make sure to change the user ID search to (all users)
If you don't have access to that, you need to edit your permissions in security.
Looking into it the donations are written to the fund automatically so they are held in the Ticket Orders menu. Unfortunately I'm not able to see these closed ticket orders in either of the batch screens.
Looking through the security app my account has manager and system admin rights so I'm able to see other closed, held, open, and posted batches in both the ticket order and contribution menu.
Is there somewhere that you can think of that I would be able to find this ticket orders that contain the donations? I have batch numbers that I am able to search on my end but nothing shows up.
Also we have a webapi system resource account but it doesn't have a control group set up yet. Could that be a reason why I'm not seeing anything?
