Hello everyone. We are still having issues with our dashboards not populating in our TEST environment after we upgraded to v15.2.35. We are self-hosted and have found that Sisense is taking up a ton of memory, just FYI.
Thinking outside the box, does anyone know if we can manually export our dashboards and then re-import them all?
And if yes, how would I go about doing that?
Thank you all,
Jena
Hey Jena,
You can use this help page to backup Analytics, which includes dashboards: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v151/Tessitura.htm
This backup may not keep your filters or email/share settings. We just upgraded to .35 and none of our dashboards went away, but we are seeing filters (mostly on widgets) have been removed or reset. We did take the backup with the PowerShell script before we upgraded just in case.
Thank you Sean. Did you manually restore or did you restore from the backup?
We did restore from the backup in hopes that it would bring the filters back, but sadly it did not. The backup does work in restoring dashboards though, so taking a backup just in case before the upgrade is a safe bet.
Well darn. That's not good, but the most important thing is the dashboards are restored. I will definitely do the backup before upgrade.
Thank you everyone,Jena
