Activity Monitor in SQL Server works fine in DEV. Was running in PROD however it has stopped working. It's saying Overview (paused). See below for screen shots.

Hello All,

I have a support ticket open but curious if any other DBA's have run into the following:

Activity Monitor from SQL Server works fine in DEV.

This is what I'm getting in PROD:

I'm finding a lot on Google for Acitivity Monitor paused but haven't found a solution yet. I'll def post once I resolve it! If you've come across this and resolved, please feel free to share it will be greatly appreciated.

If you right click on where it says (paused) you should get an option to Resume, this usually works.
The overview can become paused if you've had a blip in connection, and clicking resume will bring it back again. I've never had a case where it hasn't worked, so apologies if you've tried this already.

Thanks. Yeah, this used to work for me but it's still saying paused. DEV is running fine so working with support to learn what we're missing for PROD.
